Citizen Disarmament Democrats Unleash Inner Totalitarians with Employer Vax Mandates

With that as a backdrop, it’s no surprise that all four of these presumptive rulers are against our right to keep and bear arms. Still, since they’re so adamant about bending “we the people” to their will, it’s instructive to see how against it they are and then ask ourselves why. [More]

If California Democrats adopt any more Peoples Republic policies, they're going to have to start rounding up Uyghurs...

T.L. Davis shows the inborn humanity of a convoy supporter, to be contrasted against how they'll be portrayed by the control cultists. [More]

Funny, how "old America on display" doesn't look a thing like how it's portrayed by those who want it forgotten.

Stay of Execution

On Tuesday, Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21), alongside more than twenty colleagues, introduced the No Backdoor Gun Control Act. This legislation would remove “Any Other Weapon” (AOW) from the definition of a firearm under the National Firearms Act (NFA), ensuring that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) could not use the AOW section to violate Americans' Second Amendment rights. This is especially important should legislation that removes short-barreled rifles and short-barreled shotguns (SBRs, SBSs) from the NFA be enacted. Closing this loophole is an important step forward in reining in the ATF. [More]

This is it -- there's not a lot on it yet, like the text and the prognosis for passing (which I bet will be @ 3% before the midterms), so bookmark it to check later.

UPDATE: Yeah, it's less than 1%.

Teach Your Children Well

Maskless California Student Assaulted, Dragged Out of Classroom By Teacher [More]

The kid is big enough to have resisted. That he didn't says a lot about expectations and conditioning.

When I was in high school I shared a brief joking comment with a classmate and the "teacher" standing nearby suddenly backhanded him across the face and tried to do the same to me. I blocked it, looked him in the eye, and told him if he wanted to hit me, he had to ask my Dad and get permission first. Situation resolved.

My own sons were instructed early on to never let an adult hit them and to come to me if any did.

So-Called Journalism

My NRA Ballot Has Arrived!

I've been asked by one of his supporters to endorse one candidate and replied I can only do so if he correctly answers my questionnaire. And no, I'm not going to name names without his willing participation.

If you're backing someone from the board and want me to endorse him or her, that's my condition. If you don't give a damn what I think, that's fine and means the feeling's mutual, but if you don't give a damn about the condition, you're fooling yourself.

Coming Soon, to a Blue State Near You

Giffords, one of the largest anti-gun organizations, has been making a serious push for states to overturn their preemption statutes concerning gun laws. In 2021 they scored a significant victory when the Colorado General Assembly repealed the majority of its firearms preemption statute, making them the first state in the country to do so. According to Allison Alderman, senior counsel at Giffords, other states are looking to follow Colorado’s footsteps. [More]

Meanwhile, Over in the Holding Cell...

An undercover agent visited Drum Magazines on Aug. 4, 2021. The undercover agent asked Weston if he had any “cell phone holders.” Weston retrieved two swift link auto sears (capable of quickly converting semi-automatic AR-type rifles to fully automatic) from the back of the store and gave them to the undercover agent. The agent asked Weston if the devices would work in 300 BLK or just .223-caliber. Weston replied, “Every caliber. It’s more of a trigger setup. As long as your mil-spec trigger. But ya, it’ll work. You got me answering questions correctly.” [More]

Tattered and Tangled

Jeff John of Art in Arms Press notes:

This bothers me on many levels, but it is a metaphor on many others. For one, I honor the idea of flying the flag, but it is utterly disrespectful to allow the flag to fly so long it decays into this condition. But as a symbol for what Demerrhoids are doing to this country, it is very astute. The other problem is letting the trees entangle it. But once again, it is an ample metaphor for the state we’re in.
