If they had said "shootings" I'd have a different set of arguments, but since they started out with blatant manipulation, I'll just point that out and move on.
I do think if a lot of people saw what a bullet discharged at close range can do to one's appearance and then thought about what those who find them could never unsee, it might be persuasive in some cases in either making a different decision or choosing a different method. That and the antis will exploit the statistic to go after those they leave behind.
