A Truly Progressive Solution to Cops Shooting Black Men
Let's see, if every day is Opposite Day for "progressives," and if they say white gun owners are racist, and if those white gun owners welcome and encourage black gun owners, and ... hold on, I'll figure it out.
Anti-gun politician convicted over teen staffer vowing revenge
“His litany of transgressions includes a courthouse fistfight, fraud, and berating and threatening judges,” an earlier Washington Post report recalled. “Legal panels have described him as unethical, unprofessional and deceitful. His law license has been suspended and revoked, and he has been banned from practicing as an attorney.” [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes the character of a character who doesn't trust you with guns.
This is Your Brain on Dope
I assume they realize all their customers are "prohibited persons" per federal law...and they've fully informed them of that fact? [More]
Be an interesting lawsuit, when someone claims they had no idea they were trading in their rights, and that the "dispensary" knew or should have known to issue a legal warning before registering their purchasers. I'd love to see someone propose a law mandating such warnings be both posted and acknowledged by signature on each transaction.
It figures "progressive" dopers are statist pigs, partnering with the "Only Ones" to ensure a monopoly of violence. Opposite Day 'n all that.
And in answer to the question of how such transfers are "legal," here's the answer I got from BATFU back in 1999 when I asked:

ATF has no objection to State and local gun buy back programs. However, we are not participating in any such programs at this time. We recommend that if law enforcement officials conducting such programs come into possession of a firearm subject to the National Firearms Act (NFA) 26 U.S.C. Chapter 53, they contact their local ATF office for assistance in disposing of the weapon. NFA firearms include machineguns, short barrel shotguns, short barrel rifles, silencers, and certain concealable weapons.[Via Jake S]
We're the Only Ones Unrestrained Enough
Hours after the 40-year-old mother had obtained the order on Monday, the man she'd feared the most - Stephen Rozniakowski, an enraged Delaware County cop with a history of harassment - grabbed a gun, strapped on a bulletproof vest, kicked down the door to her Glenolden home, ran up the stairs and shot her, authorities said. [More]Come on, Demanding Moms -- Take on abusive armed "Only Ones." I dare you.

Shell Shock Redux
Uh-oh. They're reporting harshly-worded messages to the police! [More]
Everyone who heard about it from here has played nice in your Rule 5 Ridicule, right? Because I would really be mortified if I thought anti-gun statist indoctrination system parasites thought unkindly of us.

We're the Only Ones Expandable Enough
When police searched Deciccio's vehicle they found an "extensive weapons collection," including an expandable police baton, two machetes, a sword and two types of knives. [More]Why on earth any sane society would allow an individual (guiding a two-ton metal projectile carrying 15 or so gallons of volatile flammable liquid with a low flashpoint capable of causing massive fiery death and destruction) to have an expandable baton and cutting tools is just crazy!
Can we get some Moms working on this?
We're the Only Ones Dutiful Enough Redux
Alhambra police officer in fatal crash returns to police duty [More]Hah! He said "doody"!
Which is what it would be, if a non-Only One in similar circumstances causing an officer fatality were facing that CHP-recommended manslaughter charge they let this guy skate on.
Taking the Cake
So name and sue them. [More]
I'm still waiting for the "radicals" to work up the guts to take legal action against Muslims and force them to promote "gay" events. Come to think of it, there are bound to be some Islamic bakeries they could go after.

Mein Kampf Redux
Oh, the ordeals they've had to endure! [More]
Assuming they're not just lying.
My favorite story along these lines is when some Albanians mistook Madeleine Albright for the cleaning woman.

A "Progressive" Immigration Policy
The woman, Estefanía Isaías, had been barred from coming to the United States after being caught fraudulently obtaining visas for her maids. But the ban was lifted at the request of the State Department under former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton so that Ms. Isaías could work for an Obama fund-raiser with close ties to the administration. [More]Good thing none of this blatant criminality, coupled with amnesty and pathways to citizenship, could possibly have any impact on that "single issue." No wonder so few with voices in the gun rights movement will say anything about it outside of making excuses for deliberate indifference from Fairfax.
Armed While Disarmed
Yeah, ridiculous. But the crime here should be possession of stolen property. [More]

"Duty to kill you"; cop suspended for threat to protesters [More]Wouldn't it be easier if we just modified the oath...?

Shooting Blanks
In case you were wondering, rifles that shoot blanks are still rifles and are covered by Category I of the United States Munitions List. So, film producers shooting at foreign locations may need to get from the State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls licenses to export these movie props to the foreign location. [More]Why, that would that mean "prohibited persons" can't handle them at domestic locations...
Uh-ohhh...

Time is Running Out!
Oh, gosh--I even knew about them, too! I'm not worried though, because I'm stuffing MY stocking with something even better!
What's in your package?
Meanwhile, not wanting to be left out:
Do these people realize where that slogan came from?

The Perfect Companion to "We Will Not Comply"
"We will not enforce"... [More]
WarOnGuns has obtained an exclusive reaction comment from Michael Bloomberg, who was approached while wearing a dress and wig to up the number of protesters at a Demanding MILMs rally and create a "grassroots support" illusion:
We are unable to comment at this time on the validity of speculation that Shannon Watts may actually be him in similar disguise and using a "Miss Piggy" voice.

The Ghost of Christmas Present
I received a Christmas card yesterday from my friend, postmarked the day before he passed.
We never know our hour. Every once on a while, remember how important it is to show kindness and consideration while we still have the chance.

The REST of the Story
According to Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler, the suspect "accosted" the dogwalker, brandishing a knife and demanding that he hand over his car keys. The unidentified victim, who has a concealed-carry permit, pulled out a gun and fired at the attacker, who fled into nearby woods, Heckler said. It was unclear if the shots struck the attacker, who also may have been bitten by the resident's dog, Heckler said. [More]Well that certainly doesn't fit with the "common sense gun safety laws" narrative...
An Idea Whose Time Has Come
"They said they were a jury and were going to try us because we had come to offend them," Mata said. He said they accused the journalists of breaking mourning over the deaths of the missing students by using the awards event to promote politicians. [More]Our domestic Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists trying to undermine our rights and abet lawless rule by a monopoly of violence need to understand, as Mike has observed on occasion, "the rule of law as crafted by the Founders protects THEM from us far more than it protects US from them."
Speaking of Mike, he was interviewed by Ben Shapiro, and smeared by Faux News Radio, which lazily just parroted Bolsheviks for the Totalitarian Way. Oh, it's "Colmes Quarters"-- a "Fair and Balanced-Free Zone."
