GRE Round Up for November 29

Here's the latest from my fellow GREs:

John Longenecker/Los Angeles:
Dave Workman/Seattle:
Kurt Hofmann/St. Louis:
Also check out these other Liberty-oriented Examiners:

Wrapped Around the Axle

Just busier than anything today with several unexpected tasks and no time to do all that must be done...

Bunches of you sent me tons of links over the weekend--afraid I won't be getting to them--good rule of thumb for those who haven't noticed--I pretty much slow down to Examiner columns on Sat. and Sun. and if a bunch of stuff builds up, chances are there just isn't enough of me to do much about it.

Tomorrow looks to be much of the same.  Sorry, like the robot V.I.N.CENT said in "The Black Hole":
A pint can't hold a quart. If it holds a pint, it's doing the best it can.
Personally, I'm about ready to go hold a fifth.

An Explosive Development

It can be programmed so that its 25-mm. ammunition does not necessarily explode on impact. [More]
Now hold the phone just a dang second here...I thought BATFU was telling us explosive classification was based on size...

Gun Criminals Flout Law

Somalian traders have been arming themselves with illegal weapons to defend themselves against gangs of ruthless robbers in Cape Town's townships. [More]
Something must be done! For the children!

Liberty News/Safer Streets

Longenecker's latest...[Read]

Playing the Percentages

An alleged gang member who police say was behind 80 percent of the killings in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, over the past 16 months was arrested over the weekend, officials said. [More]
And here we all thought that 80% was due to weak American gun laws...I know, apples and oranges...

I get so confused trying to wade through made-up statistics designed to make it easier for government to do something to me....

More Suppressed Machine Gun Fire

The apologists are out in force in comments here.  Seems the idea of doing things openly doesn't set well with those who have appointed themselves our representatives--and their lackeys.  Funny how they have more of a problem with people who want to know the details than they do with BATFU.

Here's more of what the subguns boys are trying to keep their members from seeing.

Which lasted until noticed:

But keep up the comments, fellas--funny how you're allowed to express your views on my site.

It's Not Easy Being Green

"i'm [sic] planning something big around a government building here in Broward County, maybe a post office, maybe even a school, I'm going to walk in and teach all the government hacks working there what the 2nd amendment is all about . . . [Read]

Oh no! Not another violent right-wing extremist!!! Could the SPLC have been right about us?

Relax, it's just another hate-filled leftist loser loon acting out on her projections...

And just in case you didn't know where that Green Party she belongs to stands on "gun control"...

We're the Only Ones Administering Prenatal Care Enough

A pregnant woman in the Philippines has survived being stabbed 24 times in an attack allegedly led by two police officers facing robbery and extortion charges, police said on Friday. [More]
Fortunately, they enjoy strongly enforced "gun control" laws over there...

Meanwhile, Across the Pond in Sarah Brady Paradise...

The subjects are arguing succession.

I guess now's not the time to bring this up:
"Of more worth is one honest man to society, and in the sight of God, than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived."

"[T]he idea of hereditary legislators is as inconsistent as that of hereditary judges or hereditary juries; and as absurd as an hereditary mathematician, or an hereditary wise man; and as ridiculous as an hereditary poet-laureate."
--Thomas Paine
Of cabbage heads and kings...

Dead and Loving It

R.I.P. Leslie Nielsen.

I don't know where the guy stood politically--his brother was a big shot Canadian pol, and being Hollywood he no doubt was influenced by that culture, but he did make me laugh at the "Only Ones"--a lot. He was also cool in "Forbidden Planet," and I'll always remember him as "The Swamp Fox."

Felon laments he can’t vote for gun control

So he can’t control himself and he won’t work to pay his own freight? But he wants to stake a claim on controlling you,  your rights, and how the fruits of your labor are divvied up? [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column shows how once more, the gun grabbers are allying themselves with criminals to push their citizen disarmament agenda.
