Let Me Get This Straight

The antis want to release all kinds of information on gun owners and their purchases using the phony excuse that they're interested in fighting crime.  But release information on actual foreign criminal invaders, why, that's a violation of their civil liberties...[Read]

Retaliation fears keeping more ATF whistleblowers from coming forward

With the administration making clear that retaliation remains an option, with complicit politicians and media abetting whistleblowers being ignored and/or discredited, and with a timid GOP leadership that appears more concerned with restraining Darrell Issa than with anything else, it’s fair to ask why a lone agent would want to go out on a limb and have confidence it won’t be sawed off, and that no one able to do anything about it will care. Clayton's Brother Ron

I haven't had time to review this, but have been remiss in telling you Clayton Cramer has a new book out:
"My Brother Ron" tells the history of deinstitutionalization of the mentally ill in America, but it also tells the more personal heartbreaking story of the author's older brother, who was part of the first wave of those who suffered a schizophrenic breakdown as the old system went away.
It's available for Kindle, Nook and in paperback. You can read the first few chapters here.

We discussed it briefly, along with the relevance for gun owners, last night on "Armed American Radio." Host Mark Walters asked him to come back soon to expand on the conversation.

Strolling Down Sipsey Street

Mike posted a few over the weekend I'm calling special attention to:
  • He has more on the "80% receiver."
  • I'd intended to discuss this video last night on Armed American Radio but the conversation didn't lead to an opening. Maddow and Maher truly are subversive punks.
  • Speaking of punks, can you imagine what a miserable, twisted creature you'd need to be to say this to someone? Anonymously?
