The Courant is vulnerable, and they just poked a wolverine that wanted to be left in peace with a very sharp stick. And then threatened to dig up all the burrows...This evening’s Gun Rights Examiner report notes an enemy who wants to destroy us grasping desperately so as not to fall, and asks why it’s not to our advantage to give him a nudge and be rid of his threat for good...
Big mistake. [More]

And why is there no mention of whether or not he had been drinking?

I was trying to find the code of conduct to see what their weapons policy is, and all I could come up with was a recounting of security concerns over a walking stick carried by a disabled person.
What we know for sure is, not everyone is prohibited.
That and the ones who are don't give a damn.

The suits, which have drawn comparisons to the one worn by Marvel Comics superhero "Iron Man," could be delivered to special operations forces as early as June. [More]I can't help but wonder if the incentive to capture one as a prize will not greatly increase the danger the operator is being inserted into.
Why can't I shake this quote?
Or wonder about low-tech countermeasures...?
We're the Only Ones Out of Reach Enough

Yeah, and they're pathetic, frustrated and cowardly losers, too. We needed a research paper to tell us that?
Do I really need to call Gomer again?

[T]he idea of hereditary legislators is as inconsistent as that of hereditary judges or hereditary juries; and as absurd as an hereditary mathematician, or an hereditary wise man; and as ridiculous as an hereditary poet-laureate.

I got an email from Vermont Federation of Sportsmens Clubs I don't want to repro in its entirety here because of its length. Since there is no link to a website with the same info, I copied it into a pdf and posted it on Scribed. [More]
That's not a service I can provide for everyone, especially as it takes me away from my own stuff -- I can't tell you how many alerts I get from all kinds of groups that I cannot pass on because of the extra effort it would require, when having a simple link would allow me to share them.
I strongly urge all grassroots groups that send out emails to post their alerts on their website as well, and include a link -- that way, they won't have to exclusively rely on people forwarding their emails -- supporters can then share their links on blogs, in forums and on social media.

I will say I am against stolen gun reporting requirements in principle. That said, I find it noteworthy every time state groups push back against Fairfax, which is not infrequent, and especially when it's done so vehemently.
It will be interesting to learn more. But it will have to come from someone who understands all the issues, background, history, personalities and ramifications, and that person is not me.

This is just more crap aimed at achieving their definition of "reasonable compromise." Remember, with "progressives," every day is Opposite Day.
If I owned a gun store or a range and knew a customer was a member of this group, I'd tell them to get the hell off my property.
