Of course they do... [Read]

Zero Tolerance, Zero Brains

Margie Feinberg, a spokeswoman for the Department of Education, told the Staten Island Advance that there is a no-tolerance policy for toy guns in schools. [More]
Margie: do you ever actually listen to yourself? Me, I think the world would be a much better place if people had no tolerance for hive insects like you.

Unfortunately, it's not like we haven't run into legophobia before...

UPDATE: Cleveland Gun Rights Examiner Daniel White has more.

We're the Only Ones Fit for Duty Enough

Not that I want to make fun of anybody's physical condition, but really--what is this guy supposed to do if he has to get into a physical confrontation or chase down a suspect?

No idea where or when this was taken, but it appears others are also noticing...

Don't tell me people like this are better prepared, trained, capable and equipped to protect me than I am to protect myself. Or if you do, don't expect me to believe it.

Does Congress Have the Power?

Of course they do. [Read]

It says so right here.

What...it doesn't?

Uhh...then allow me to reconstruct my answer to one that will be considered acceptable by the political establishment and the watchdog media:

Are you serious?

We're the Only Ones Bending the Rules Enough

Their mission is to protect and to serve, but lately some Durham officers are accused of bending the rules they're supposed to follow. [More]
Bending the rules?

You know, things like breaking and entering, extortion, threats...bending rules against those.

Oh, and looky here:
Councilman Eugene Brown says he sees a cause for concern especially considering the recent scandals - overtime abuse that cost an officer and a deputy chief their jobs, another charged with DWI, because his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit. And just last week, a federal indictment against an officer accused of selling drugs out of his squad car...
What, it's not just an isolated bad apple...?

And just think--Paul Helmke would rather have coffee with him than with you.

Southern Poverty Law Center Equates Gun Owners with Haters

Just putting this on their "Hate Watch" page accomplishes their agenda--to put a stigma on good and decent Americans by equating them with racists, Klansmen, Nazis, terrorists...and this isn't the first time we've seen them resort to such smears and innuendo. [More]

Good grief.

Should John Edwards Be a 'Prohibited Person'?

While it's true that Edwards hasn't been convicted of anything, his gun-grabbing Democrat pals are trying to not let that stop them--in fact, Frank Lautenberg is at it again, proposing that people merely suspected by the government be barred from buying guns via a "terror watch list." [More]
Today's second Gun Rights Examiner column asks why anti-gunners don't apply the same standards to themselves that they impose on the rest of us.

Help the Brady Campaign Scald Themselves on Starbucks Coffee

Forget the accusation that citizens intent on claiming their rights are trying to be "superheroes"--that's just childish noise coming from people who have no other argument, and so rely on the tried and true Brady practice of insulting the character of those they hate as they desperately try to gin up fear. [More]
Today's first Gun Rights Examiner column looks at some desperate people who ougtht to settle down and have a cup of coffee.

Yes, "first"--there are a few other issues that I think merit GRE columns.

Stay tuned.
