Despite the initial description widely circulated for nearly a week, the tipster said gunman was a black man, and that he was the passenger in a car driven by another black man. The emailer didn't offer the alleged driver's full name, but instead directed investigators to an Instagram account that authorities used to figure out his real name: Eric Black Jr.
Looks like Mom's got some 'splainin' to do.
Now that the mob has been riled, will we see equivalent efforts and apologies to correct the record?
