Last Night on Armed American Radio

Live from the Talk 860 WGUL/News Talk 930 WLSS studios in Tampa, FL, Mark welcomes a powerful guest lineup including Jose Cruz, rape survivor Amanda Collins, CO Students for Concealed Carry spokesperson Katherine Whitney, Guns Across America founder Eric Reed, David Codrea, and George Hill. GREAT program, enjoy!
I really like their new graphic. Here are all three segments-- I was on the Hour 3 Roundtable, when The Mad Ogre used my poetry book to ignite Reactor One:

App lets consumers network to ID ‘gun free zone’ businesses

With that goal in mind, there’s one way readers of this column can help make it happen, and help get the Gun Free Zones App “in the hands of millions of people” -- download it, use it, tell your friends about it and share the news. And let them know if they don’t want to embrace and use technology in the fight for freedom, that will make those who favor more restrictions and who are exploiting innovative ways to do so very happy. A Good First Step

Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), a member of the Democratic Party’s leadership in the House of Representatives, suggested to Jason Mattera at a Feb. 13 women’s rights rally that plans for an assault weapons ban and private-sales background checks were only the beginning of a broader gun control agenda extending to handguns as well. The Miller/Scalia Test

The AR-15, which isn't a brand but rather a generic design, accounts for an estimated 60 percent of all civilian rifle sales in the United States and perhaps a quarter of all firearms sold ... Today, the AR-15 is so popular, with estimates of as many as 5 million in private hands ... [More]

We're the Only Ones Deal-Making Enough

"No resources were spared," Suhr said. [More]

And none evidently were risked:

Police negotiators were then called to make contact with those inside the house...urging them to surrender peacefully and to give up any weapons...Still, while as many as seven people were detained, there were no arrests - a clear sign, department insiders say, that they had a deal with somebody to get the weapon back with no questions asked. In addition to the stolen police rifle, officers recovered a Ruger Mini-14 tactical semiautomatic rifle, a semiautomatic pistol, a shotgun, 1,000 ecstasy pills and other drugs.
What the hell?

Anybody really believe the reason they're being so coy on how they recovered from their negligence is because they don't want to reveal the secrets of their crime detection prowess?

And anybody notice how the no-knock dynamic entries seem to be tabled as the first option when people perceived as likely to effectively shoot back are targeted?  The ones in my last post couldn't have done this?

And yes, by all means, the question of why the NRA isn't screaming bloody murder about SWAT raids is legitimate, and the excuse I'd expect to hear is it's because they're "a single-issue organization."
