No mere--what do they call you blokes?--subject can buy one of these, which I thought was the way you lot liked it. And it has nothing to do with the Giffords shooting. Or Carolyn McCarthy's bill. Why you'd stretch so to tie those in tells us all we need to know about Daily Mail reporters.
I swear, I think all gun events ought to only admit "Authorized Journalists" who can present some sort of verifiable non-stupidity/integrity credentials. I know the shows thrive on publicity and all, but letting these morons in doesn't do them any favors.

We're the Only Ones Home on the Range Enough
On Thursday morning, residents had circled with orange marker approximately a dozen pieces of gray metal on Ronald Avenue. They didn't do it at obnoxious hours, so I didn't mind it because of the noise per se. Besides, to rip off Lieutenant Colonel Bill Kilgore, I love the sound of a range--it sounds like freedom.
But then I would remember the place was "Only Ones" exclusive, and it didn't sound like that at all.
On Common Ground
As a liberal Democrat, I worry about the damage we might do by rushing toward a fresh raft of gun-control laws. It's very hard to demonstrate that most of them -- registration, waiting periods, one-gun-a-month laws, closing the gun-show loophole, large-capacity-magazine restrictions, assault-rifle bans -- have ever saved a life...So "as a liberal Democrat," do you feel no complicity for enabling that harm, by giving aid and comfort to those "liberal Democrats" inflicting it on us?
Gun control not only does no practical good, it actively causes harm. [More]
I mean, it's fine and good that you say you understand the truth about "gun control." Now bring yourself up to speed on the evils of collectivists usurping undelegated authority, and we just might find some of that "common ground" your side keeps making noises about as they advance from a beachhead they've already captured and controlled.
