Chutzpah

A group of 18 Democrats have signed a letter asking the governors of states along the international border with Mexico to help stop illegal guns moving south. [More]
But these traitors scream like hell at the prospect of states stopping illegal aliens moving north. And every damn one of these lying hypocrites has run interference for the Obama administration's Fast and Furious involvement.

Domestic enemies all...

Time for an Ultimatum

Republican Senate Leaders are stonewalling on HB746 (Constitutional Carry and more). They are taking gun right voters for granted, and actively refusing to move this important bill. They have gone as far as kicking a GRNC volunteer out of a Senate meeting in effort to stifle the people's right to petition and redress their government. We cannot allow them to do this! [More]
Then you'll let them know you're going to pick one and make an example out of him. And then do it.

Americans and guns: It's really complicated, survey shows [More]
How many respondents actually know what the hell they're talking about, including when they're intentionally being asked the wrong questions?

We're the Only Ones Self-Evident Enough

A former Butte County Sheriff’s Office evidence technician was ordered Tuesday to serve nearly a year in jail for stealing guns, drugs and money from the department’s evidence facility. [More]
All of which they took by force...

I'd think this could also raise some serious integrity of the chain of custody questions...

Constitution-Free Zones

You know, Iowa courthouses... [More]

"Only Ones" exempted of course...

And before anyone starts arguing for necessary "gun-free zones" and bans, there's a little truism they're going to need to get around.

How Do You Say 'Common Sense Gun Safety Laws' in Spanish?

Murders hit record high in Mexico [More]
Why, I'll bet we could come up with something to "corroborate" our talking points that 95% of their "crime guns" are due to lax U.S. gun laws!

Say, how about if we design an operation to "prove" that...? Hell, even if people die and we're caught, we'll just call it a "botched gun sting" and continue riding the gravy train.

Taking a Stab at All Oath Keepers

Foreman is also affiliated with the Oath Keepers, according to Gionet. The Oath Keepers, a group comprised largely of former law enforcement officers and military veterans, often provides security for far-right protesters and at demonstrations in support of Trump. The group has been described as “one of the largest radical anti-government groups” in the country, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks domestic extremists and hate groups. [More]
Nice of "real reporters" James Queally and Matt Pearce to take SPLC at their word for it (because the FBI no longer does), as opposed to, I don't know, doing some "real reporting." You know, maybe asking someone in leadership about that allegation, or asking themselves how a group largely comprised of current and former government employees, who take an oath to the Constitution and exclude from membership any seeking the overthrow of the United States, can be "anti-government."

But then again, that wouldn't advance the narrative, would it?

A senior security database program officer at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence had at least 14 freelance jobs, performed hundreds of illegal searches and admitted to spending approximately “all day” on Facebook. [More]

Fortnight for Freedom?

"The standing USCCB resolution supporting the criminalization of handgun possession is a wretched mark of darkness on the American Catholic episcopacy.  Law-abiding American citizens need and use handguns to protect life from terrorists and other criminals.  American Catholic bishops operate under the dark cloud of the resolution." A sniper with Canada’s elite special forces in Iraq has shattered the world record for the longest confirmed kill shot in military history at a staggering distance of 3,540 metres. [More]
Pretty damned impressive. Far be it from me to spoil the admiration being expressed in gun circles by bringing up the name "Horiuchi," not to diminish this guy, but just as a reminder that there may come a day when decisions will need to be made about following orders.

Mystery to Me

Hodgkinson had a piece of paper with the names of six members of Congress written on it, Slater said, but the note lacked any further context and there was no evidence from his computer, phone or other belongings that indicated he planned to target those officials. Slater declined to name the officials whose names were on the note or say whether they were Republicans or Democrats or were at the baseball practice. [More]
Since he reportedly asked if they were Democrats or Republicans, does it matter? I'd think the fact that he wanted to kill anyone not "progressive" like him is even more chilling, because he was hardly alone in that sentiment, with plenty of encouragement.

Case in point (and it received kind mentions in the media at the time):
Killing Republicans ... Funded in part by NYC Department of Cultural Affairs.

They Asked for It

I see hatred directed toward whites, males, Christians, conservatives and heterosexuals all the time that qualifies as treating such individuals "negatively."

If that hotline were used for the stated reasons, it would be effectively shut down. Curious that there's no warning about hoax hate crime reports being punishable, so I guess they're saying anything goes.

And what a true example of public works. You'd think they could size and center their poster headline so it would fit on the page instead of bleeding off the edge.
