Romney low profile on Fast and Furious a retreat from NRA speech

Current Romney silence, coupled with a disturbing lack of leadership from the Republican leadership, has many concerned that the GOP fears allowing the Issa investigations to proceed in a meaningful way, as opposed to just being carefully meted out political theater. [More]

I've come to expect nothing but political theater out of the Republicans. I half expected this on fast and furious. Since Obama and Holder WILL play the race card, the Repubs are quaking in their boots.

Asking a GOP presidential candidate for "genuine leadership" clearly is, and has been for quite some time...

Same for their Congressional candidates for the House and the Senate. We will NOT vote our way out of this...

Just what did you expect from a guy who argued with a Kennedy about which of them was tougher on guns?

Which is worse? An enemy that you have already identified and have fought or a supposed ally who is going to stab you in the back after he gets what he wants?
