White Men Don’t Count

Over at the Washington Post, two “researchers and consultants on social and political issues” argue that American mass shooters are overwhelmingly white males, and that therefore the opinions of white males on what to do about mass shootings should be discounted. [More]
OK, but I don't think they're going to like the results of imposing "solutions" without considering those opinions.

I love it when they admit this out loud. I wish more people would listen.

The need to discount the opinion of all democrats as all the shooters were democrats or from democrat families.

From the WaPo article to which VerBruggen is responding:

If life were equitable, white male gun-rights advocates would face some serious questions to assess their degree of credibility and objectivity.

Catch that? Not "white males," but "white male gun rights advocates." Although the problem has been (very dubiously) identified as "white males," now, suddenly, and without explanation, it's "white male gun rights advocates."

If the problem is "white males," why don't white male anti-gunners face increased scrutiny?
