Scared of a few poseurs but coming after you like hammers of hell should you be suspected of having a gun.
This just goes to show that the police won't save your neck if it's "too dangerous" for them. Your safety is in your hands.
A 9mm pistol that holds at least 15 rounds, with a half dozen or more loaded spare magazines in a bandolier would do nicely for clearing out this mob of attackers. Oh wait a minute, the state of New York does not want you to carry more then 7 rounds in a magazine, and the City of New York does not want you to be armed at all. The suckers in New York, City and state, tolerate this nonsense. I hope they feel "safer" after seeing this.
As it currently stands, this mob safely gambled that the driver was unarmed and defenseless from attack once he was boxed in. I am surprised that the driver did not run over more motorcyclists in his attempt to escape with his family in that SUV. I hope that others watch and learn from his mistake.
Since we are now a third world country, get together with your neighbors and start using convoys. Also machine guns mounted on pickups for protection.
