He may as well have put up a "no homos allowed" sign on his business in San Fran to get a similar reaction
"Homos" might have gotten a similar reaction. "Turd Burglars" would have earned a similar reaction.
He intentionally singled out a large group of potential customers to call douchebags. Can't see how that equates to 'used the wrong wording'. More like "I intentionally insulted you because I didn't think there were very many of you and I didn't think any of you would stand up to me". Now he wants to kiss and make up?.
