My pistol permit allows me to "carry concealed." That's right, I can legally carry a handgun, and you wouldn't even know it. [More]So why do you even have one?
Because the rest of your pussified diatribe is nothing but a lame cover for ceding all moral responsibility to defend yourself and your charges to the "Only Ones" if evil ever visits. If you'd be incapable in a school situation, why should you be trusted anywhere? Does something magical happen when artificial property lines are crossed?
And why should any parent who loves their children trust them with a useless, gutless excuse-maker like you?
If I were an FFL and you came into my gun store, I'd tell you to get the hell out, and I'd probably use a different word than "hell."

His argument is great for other things. No one in a school should learn CPR because they don't have the training of doctors. No school should have a fire extinguisher because the teachers don't have the training of a firefighter.
If teachers can't be trusted with arms, why for f's sake would we trust them with children?
This needed posting.
So we can see what a Quisling looks and sounds like.
Bird-watching.
HERE is the real reason:
"But what if the principal (or teacher) doesn't act quickly enough? Or doesn't believe in pulling a gun? Or couldn't find the key to the locked drawer containing the gun? Or wasn't in the building when a threat presented itself? There now becomes a culpable nondefender, someone who didn't do her duty and now another target for finger-pointing, excuse-making, lawsuits, or worse."
CYA. Typical administrator.
He would rather have dead kids than have a CHANCE that some lawyer might sue them.
