NRA doesnt want to water-down their new "insurance" brand??
National Rifle Association == Berkeley?
What would Ann Coulter think?
I was a charter subscriber to their Concealed Carry magazine, and loved them for their stance that the right didn't depend on licences and other nonsense... but then I dropped them when they started putting "legally licensed" disclaimers in their articles and columns. No time for those who'd sell rights for a license.
Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network is still going so the insurance aspect doesn't hold up. I've always found USCCAto be very unprofessional. When I say unprofessional I mean from the standpoint of what I expect from the professional armed self-defense community, their raw marketing is extremely professional. That Mas Ayoob, Rob Pincus, and others associated their names with the Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network gives them more credibility than all the e-mails about gun giveaways and slick videos from USCCA could ever do for me.

"Are Network membership benefits based on an insurance policy that will reimburse me for my expenses if I must defend my actions in court?
No. Network dues give members access to specific benefits. See "Membership Benefits" page by clicking here. Network benefits are specifically not an insurance program nor are they prepaid legal fees."
