I suppose it's better late than never, but that he's just getting around to a "bang for the buck" analysis now is yet another demonstration of how he has enjoyed fabulous benefits while dumping his oversight responsibilities on others. That's not only stupid and lazy, but it's also disrespectful of everyone who made a donation at the expense of another priority.
UPDATE: Looks like Chris Cox resigned, too.
I'm wondering if all this is going to result in more lawsuits.
Who thinks Wayne won't sue if they do the right thing, fire him, and decide he didn't earn that retirement package?

Enough with the fluff!
I wanna hear about the intern!
;-)
BTW: Today I received another solemn "enemy at the gates" letter from Dear Leader reminding me that there's an election coming up, that the (D) party doesn't like guns, and that we're in for a fight the likes of Stalingrad or Kursk. He finally got around to the "money shot" (apologies to anyone in the porn industry who I might have offended), and offered me an upgrade to Patron Life, normally a $1500 value) for a pittance of a mere $350, payable as $25 down and easy installments of $25.
Hey, Wayne. If you're that hard up for cash, maybe you could sell some of the suits, or cut the intern loose. She's cute enough to find another sugar daddy so no harm, no foul.
I've seen Chris Cox on Fox News Sunday and imho obviously the wrong person resigned. Lapierre forced Neal Knox out at NRS so he could gain control. Back in the debates over gun bans, Brady Bill etc., the NRA seemed to be on the right track, although they got somethings wrong.
I generally do not donate to NRA per se, except "round-up" and "add-a-buck" but have to NRA-ILA. No more. When the NRA calls soliciting donations they have the audacity to ask for hundreds of dollars, and offering some stupid gimmick to entice you. One time I told them that I gave my money to GOA, which I do and will continue to do. I have Life Membership but get sent all kinds of notices about renewing my membership.
The NRA seems to have become a bureaucratic levitation, and Wayne just another swollen headed politician.
Since when does a 'CEO' control the BOD?
Seems the NRA is backwards in many ways.
Opposite Day? Hope not.
CEO is not even a legit tile for him. He's EVP and Article V. Section 1. (b) of the Bylaws clearly states "The Board may not ... create any other offices," so every time they use it they are violating the "constitution" with impunity.
" ... so every time they use it they are violating the "constitution" with impunity."
Ah hah. Well!
Rule of Law. Perhaps it should also apply to the NRA.
