I went through the list and discovered some interesting things. There is no mention of AKs or AK variants. Maybe these are already prohibited in Canada. Also, there are no shotguns on the list. Some media outlets are reporting that the decree includes all semiauto shotguns. This does not seem to be the case. The decree does cover exotica like Boys anti-tank rifles (seriously, how many of those are around?) and grenade launchers. Some of the "weapons" on the list seem to be potato cannons, at least from the title. Anyway, I feel sorry for our thoroughly over-regulated brethren way up North.
