A common gun owner reaction to both Oliver and Bee: If they don’t like it here, why don‘t they go back to where they came from? The answer you’ll get back: Because they became American citizens. Kind of, but they hedged their bets. [More]
These foreign nationals didn't really mean it when they swore an oath to "absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity" to their former governments, but just mouthing the words did the trick and got them in while they undermine the Bill of Rights for fame and fortune.

When my 'she who must be obeyed' took American citizenship some years back there was no question of dual citizenship. She gave up her old land and her prior passport.
How the hell do these 'special ones' hold on to multiple citizenships and passports?
The option of dual citizenship is available to folks from some countries, but not to others. I don't have a list of which is which, but I have known quite a few that were Canadian/American.
Recently there was quite a scandal in Australia over the issue. People certain ranks in their government cannot legally be of dual citizenship. Nevertheless, some were and when that became common knowledge, they had to resign or were removed.
