"The 2nd Amendment does NOT authorize gun OWNERSHIP! ” tweeted Olbermann. [More]
Take it from a guy who thinks it's OK to shield the "Only One" who executed a woman.
He's also apparently upset that a mass shooting didn't happen...

UPDATE: I must have been sleeping at the switch because I harp on this all the time (I've even been called names and did a WH petition on it) and it didn't even register with me this time.

Just like a busted clock tells the correct time twice a day, this time Olbermann is 100% on the money.
The Second Amendment does not authorize gun ownership.
In fact, none of the Bill of Rights authorize anything.
It notes that the right to own arms, including guns, exists as a fundamental right, and forbids the government from messing with it.

You could look that up too.
You know what? I harp on that point all the time and it went right by me here.
You getting enough sleep, David?
I think I just picked a bad week to give up sniffing glue...
Don't beat yourself up too bad, David. Nobody gets it right 100% of the time. On balance you do a pretty good job IMHO.
BTW, I just put a slightly reworded copy of my above comment on the article's comment page.
P.S. You've blown the "glue sniffing" excuse. Those that actually partake call it "huffing."
