Rittenhouse calls Binger fat eighth-grader, jokes about shooting, talks 'adult jail' [More]
He's not going to go away now, is he?
Let's hope those trying very publicly to associate with him don't end up regretting it.

Someone needs to tell Rittenhouse to STFU and let the lawyers go after his libeling tormentors.
And Rittenhouse needs to take that to heart.
Curious headline. If yu read what Rittenhouse actually said, he did not call Binger fat (he was talking about the other prosecutor, who was... FAT)... and Binger did, in fact, wear two different fanboi pins on his suit jacket in the first days of the trial, and people reported on how unprofessional it was.
Two thoughts:
1. Rittenhouse needs to be reminded of a few things:
- How fortunate he is that he was found Not Guilty on all charges;
- Half of America still hates him;
- Even with the Not Guilty verdict he's still a controversial-enough figure that employment-wise he's effectively radioactive (read: his future prospects are extremely limited); and
- He still has libel/slander/defamation lawsuits pending and continuing to mouth off in public jeopardizes them.
This thing in Kenosha happened to him, and though his response in the moment was admirable, he seems content to let that moment define the rest of his life - in my opinion that would be a huge mistake. He's not invincible, either physically or reputationally, but he's acting as though he's untouchable.
2. Conservatives and Constitutionalists need to realize that Rittenhouse is not necessarily "one of us". Prior to being attacked, he was supportive of many Leftist movements, including BLM and "racial equity". Barring a sizable shift in thinking based on recent events, other than self-defense and the right to keep and bear arms we probably have little in common. Making him the "face" of the conservative and/or Constitutionalist movement is not a good idea, because of this and because - again - half of America still hates him.
What Rittenhouse should do is take his 'W' and quietly contemplate his future, given all the facts in that first thought above. He definitely should not be flaunting his current infamy.
What conservatives and Constitutionalists should do is find a better potential avatar.
No body ever questioned his bravery. But he's providing plenty of reasons to question his intelligence. The exhuberance of youth is digging a hole he might fall into.
