Even the antis suffer this tragic mental fallacy. Massachusetts once defended their state gun owner registry because it allowed their cops to "know when they went out on a house call who had a gun and who didn't." Shortsighted fools, all. They were in more risk from a name that did NOT show up on their list than they were from someone who did.
