Rhodes is widely believed to be an FBI informant.
A defense lawyer for another OathKeeper is calling him as a witness. Perhaps to grill him about being an informant and entrapping his client?
Suddenly the feds show up with a superseding warrant. What better way to keep Rhodes "unavailable" to testify for at the trial of his subordinate?
