Mike used to smuggle donated magazines to people "behind enemy lines."

Ones that worked he called "Patriot Grade" if memory serves. Those went to select folks that might find them useful when/if the time comes.

Ones that didn't work he called something like "Politician Grade." Those went to blue state gun banning politicians. Because just the existence of a banned item seems to get them to soil their drawers.

I'm going to suggest that those with the wherewithal to make a lower on a 3D printer or milling machine do so and mail one every so often to a politician who needs a dose of reality. THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE MIL_SPEC! Who cares if they would fail after the first round? These would be more PsyOp grade than tactical grade. Make them cheap and often. Print them out of PLA. Machine them out of ingots made from smelted beer cans.

But make them.

And mail them.
