Rhode Island lawmakers are expected to gather at the State House Thursday for a second day of hearings on gun legislation in the state. Looks like that's from 1992, so that would be the father, who was also the governor when I was a kid. His son filed the same bills as Senator, and also took his turn as Governor. Then he became a Democrat. Then he became a Libertarian. Then he and his whole dynasty became blessedly irrelevant.
But that's par for the course in crazyland. When Massachusetts sneezes, RI catches cold. Mitt Romney. Susan Collins. Mike Bloomberg. Nuff said.
