Bhumika Ghimire is a Freelance Reporter

Unfortunately that right, which many Americans cherish, is causing many deaths, directly or indirectly, every year.

That's like saying the First Amendment causes slander.

Funny attitude for an "Authorized Journalist."

Her solution? Have the state issue work permits and then guarantee police protection for Nepalese students. That and hold the college and immigration authorities responsible.

Sorry, kiddo. There is no duty to protect and no liability for failure to do so. They don't even do that for citizens. And the person responsible is the killer. Are you really so enmeshed in the collective that you can't see that?

If you're going to recommend changes to our laws, why not first learn what they are and stop listening to panty-wringers like CSGV--after all, they're on the side of those who say give an assailant what he wants. That sounds like what poor, young Mr. Bhattarai did.

It didn't have to end that way.

Do a little research on the culture you would presume to comment on. Here. Here. Here. And here. Then maybe you can help stop people who won't protect people from preventing people to protect themselves.

Guns in the Workplace

Carrying a gun is a necessity in the face of rampant lawlessness. “I got it when I got posted here,” a chief executive of a sugar mill said.
Do you think he leaves it in his car?

We're the Only Ones Good Shepherd Enough

A FATHER and daughter were left distressed after witnessing police officers using a taser gun on a sheep that had wandered onto a dual carriageway.
Why the surprise? That's what "Only Ones" do to sheep.

You don't think they'd try to tase a pack of wolves, do you?

We're the Only Ones Sticking it to You Enough

Police confiscate walking stick from retired teacher, 78, because it is an 'offensive weapon'
And then they "misplaced" it.

I wish I could say I find this surprising rather than expected. If the people ever do find their way again over there, I hope they have a good caning in mind for offensive "Only Ones" like these.

We're the Only Ones Repeating Ourselves Enough

A Ground Self-Defense Force sergeant belonging to the GSDF's police unit accidentally fired a handgun twice Tuesday afternoon at the Defense Ministry's headquarters in Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo. The bullets hit the ground and a wall, but no one was injured.
Twice! At least they didn't say "the gun went off the gun went off."

I don't suppose I could get away with a comment about "Onry Ones"...?

Brits Taken to the Woodshed

Council advises homeowners to leave sheds open for thieves
So they won't break the locks or damage the structure, you see... Hey, it's valuable state property...

How is this different in principle from advising a woman to leave her legs open for rapists?

Just close your eyes and think of England...

We're the Only OnesPutting Our Heart (and other body parts) into our Work

A Lawrence, Mass., police officer who is charged with kidnapping and raping a woman while on duty was hospitalized overnight after complaining of chest pains.
Why do I picture Redd Foxx clutching his chest and crying "ELIZABETH"?

The thing is, enforcing the violation of another human being's rights is a form of rape--both involve force or the threat of force, and require absolute submission to unspeakable indignity on the part of the victim.

Wherever peaceable citizen disarmament is deemed a "legitimate" police power, that's just what they're training their "Only Ones" to do.

We're the Only Ones with No Exceptions Enough

Ontario Provincial Police Commissioner Julian Fantino has said repeatedly that drivers who go 50 km/h over the speed limit will have their car seized on the spot and their licence suspended for seven days — with no exceptions.

But there were two exceptions, and both were OPP officers.
No exceptions except for "Only Ones," that is...

We're the Only Ones Aggressive Enough

EXPLICIT: View from dash cam shows aggressive arrest of man for reckless driving.
Winning friends and influencing people. Just another typical "Only One"/citizen encounter...

Inexcusable.

I would think just as a matter of self-preservation they'd want to moderate their public relations a tad--just in case they ever find themselves in a situation where the balance of power is reversed and they find themselves in need of a little sympathy or mercy.

Maybe they're not imaginative or prescient enough to visualize such circumstances...

We're the Only Ones Like a House Afire Enough

The Fallsburg fire chief has been charged with arson in the Aug. 29 bungalow fire at an Orthodox Jewish summer camp in Sullivan County.

Why is it so many "Only Ones" have the exact opposite effect of what we have them for in the first place?

Mike H has some about Ron Paul.

Me too.

What a Liar

"I never said 'gang-raped' and I never used 'rape,' " Bernhard told the Daily News on Thursday.
Yes you did. Liar. We saw it and we heard it.

But you and/or your supporters edited it out of the video.

That doesn't surprise us--commies rewrite history and lie about it all the time.

And leave it to "Authorized Journalists" to describe this revolting Gollum as a "funnywoman."

UPDATE:For some reason, people are reporting on Bernhard denying what she said, but I'm not seeing any major outlets talking about the YouTube video being changed to delete the black rape segment.

Here's the Google cache link:

Here's what it currently displays:

This Day in History: October 3

The Committee of Safety orders the repair of the barracks and hospital at Albany, New York, "with all possible dispatch in the cheapest . . . manner, so as to make them fit for the reception of the Troops of the Continental Army."

Chi-Town’s Pell-Mell Gun Laws

Not surprisingly, when you consider the Chicago political establishment, anti-gun Mayor Richard Daley, who never saw a private citizen’s gun he didn’t want to ban, supports Mell’s proposal. Apparently Mr. Daley’s theory is, the only ones who can be trusted with firearms in Chicago are members of law enforcement, his personal security detail, and fellow politicians — at least ones he’s allied with.
We've talked about Alderman Mell before. "Chicago's Pell-Mell Gun Laws," my Rights Watch column for the October 2008 issue of GUNS Magazine, is now online.

GUNS Magazine: October 1958

The first article I read in the June issue was "The Sullivan Law...Makes Crime Safe." The more I read, the madder I got. That Sullivan Law should have been thrown out a good many years ago. How come the sportsmen don't do something about it?...
I know I would hate to have a law like that in Connecticut; and we could have had a law like that in 1958 if the 24 bills against firearms then submitted had been made into laws. But the sportsmen got together in strength and opposed these bills before a hearing in Hartford. It is always easier to kill a bill than to fight a law.
Some gun owners were aware and active 50 years ago. Too bad more weren't.

Read about that and West Virginia's Johnson Pistol Law in the "Crossfire" letters section, along with lots of interesting articles and the classic period ads.

The October 1958 issue of GUNS Magazine is now online.

Not the Answer Paul's Looking for

Gun shows don't contribute to increased homicide or suicide rates, according to results of a study announced Wednesday by the University of Michigan's Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.

So count on Paul Helmke to insist that they do.

Meanwhile, Back in Bloomberg Paradise...

Masked gunman kills Brooklyn mother
Gun control. It's for the children.

Until they start losing their defenseless mothers.

We're the Only Ones "Naked Gun" Enough

A pistol stolen from a San Francisco police officer in 2004 was reportedly used in an attempted homicide just before midnight Monday on West Lindo Avenue...

Bounding out of his home naked, the victim told police he encountered a man carrying several branches from marijuana plants under his arm.
So much for limiting guns to "Only Ones" creating a safer city--and that's the naked truth.

Well We're Living Here in Allentown

Allentown City Council passed legislation Wednesday requiring residents to report lost or stolen guns, joining Philadelphia to become the second city in the state to pass such a law.
Just like Philadelphia, they're assuming an authority state law does not allow.

And just like Philadelphia, this nonsense won't stop one act of criminal violence.
