As with many families, I'll be keeping the men in mine who served, sacrificed and are no longer with us in my thoughts and prayers today.

The Battle of Cobleskill (also known as the Cobleskill massacre) was an American Revolutionary War raid on the frontier settlement of Cobleskill, New York on May 30, 1778. The battle marked the beginning of a phase in which Loyalists and Iroquois, encouraged and supplied by British authorities in Province of Quebec, raided and destroyed numerous villages on what was then the United States western frontier of New York and Pennsylvania. A common complaint is media bias and absence of representation for "our side."

The few times in my career I've called in sick, I was too ill to even think about going to a ball game, let alone starring a fight with anyone. Plus, when I was helping coach my kids' teams, I always took the attitude we were there to help them develop, and owed them conduct and guidance worth modeling. It really wasn't all that difficult to behave.
