How Dry I Am

[M]ost of the businesses downtown are gone, most of the people have left as well, in fact, less than 3000 people remain. [More]
2,831 per the 2010 Census.

So why was saving a dilapidated ghost town such a priority?

Disputed and Uncomfirmed

The authors of this "study" by the Brady Campaign are engaging in willful denial of the facts. [More]
So why wouldn't they take that tack? We've already indisputably confirmed they're religious bigots who tacitly endorse the idea of concentration camps for gun owners.

At least they've once more broken their silence. But this latest just proves how tough it is for liars to keep their stories straight. They had no problem disputing or confirming things when they wanted to use Gunwalker to complain how it would never have happened if only we had a permanent gun führer.

Gun owner action needed on Texas campus carry bill

[T]he House must vote by Thursday, May 12...[More]
This morning's second Gun Rights Examiner report asks Texas gun owners to take a moment to contact the help and git 'er done.

"Common" Sense Poetry

Tell the law, my Uzi weighs a ton [More]

No, you tell them.

Better yet, show them.

Your hostess will have plenty around to introduce you to.

An Unfunded Mandate

For now, the system is capable on certain high-end cell phones but starting next year, all cell phones will be required to have the chip that receives alerts. [More]
And you will be required to pay for it.

I wonder if the precedent established here could be applied...?

I'll See Your State...

An "Ideologically Disparate Duo"

You believe that, right? [Read]

The "progressives" and their neocon partners present it as a "debate," rather than a tag team effort between the political establishment and their media allies to produce concessions.

Hey, the award-winning Dick Cheney agrees, so it must be cool.

We're the Only Ones with No Reason Enough

"There's no reason for that weapon to be in this country other than to kill people," said LAPD Assistant Chief Michel Moore. "So we're getting those weapons off the street, out of hands of people who shouldn't have them." [More]
And the people who should have them? Why, the "Only Ones," of course, who by this brownshirt's own assessment of reason need such weapons to kill people.

What is it with people who share that name and exhibit pig-like tendencies?

And look who's getting his mug in the paper helping out: why, it's Dennis Zine, "the 2nd Amendment's best friend,"at least until he decided it was politically expedient to reveal his true leanings.

Think Globally...

...act locally. [Read]

Another excellent piece by Paul Gallant, Joanne D. Eisen and Alan Chwick.

Hopefully I'll find time to comment in more detail tomorrow, because it really does illustrate how ludicrous the gungrabbers' plans are in terms of accomplishing the goals they're trying to sell their obscene Arms Trade Treaty with.

Anti-gun Brady supporters promoting religious intolerance, ideological cleansing

In any case, even he understood the evil of the state rounding up a people who shared an officially-despised belief system and shipping them off into concentrated areas surrounded by barbed wire.

One would think that is something people would not joke about, ending such monstrously offensive “suggestions” with a little “smiley” emoticon.  [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner commentary looks at some members of what is evidently a hate group.

Suprynowicz: "ATF told the gun stores ‘Go ahead,’ arm drug cartels"

Under Project Gunrunner — now frequently and sarcastically dubbed “Gunwalker” — and the Phoenix off-shoot, “Fast and Furious,” the ATF encouraged gun store owners to sell to straw buyers — consumers who they suspected of working on behalf of Mexican drug cartels...[More]
I love seeing the "gunwalker" term used more and more in the media.
