I've updated the Gunwalker Journalist's Guide Volume 9 with posts added since March 11 by myself on Gun Rights Examiner and WarOnGuns, and by Mike Vanderboegh at Sipsey Street Irregulars. This also includes links by Dave Workman at Seattle Gun Rights Examiner and Kurt Hofmann at St. Louis Gun Rights Examiner. Click here to access them, and please share this link.
Candidly, anyone not keeping up with what's here isn't getting the full story.

DOJ charges release of ‘Gunwalker’ reports impedes investigations
And Weich is still out there deflecting, redirecting and stonewalling, trying to shutter the windows, pull down the blinds and make the villains in this murderous government intrigue the ones with the light. [More]This evening's special Gun Rights Examiner report looks at accusations from a proven liar. As far as I can tell, the letter appears in its entirety exclusively here.
Why are ‘racial justice’ advocates silent on other 17-year-old?
Those stirring up the mob are taking full advantage of anger, and it’s hard not to think of the death of the Florida teen as an opportunity for their self-promotion, as opposed to a sincere concern for color-blind justice. [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner column condemns evil opportunists who are egging on violent racial conflict.

Rush to judgment on George Zimmerman reminiscent of mob behavior
“If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon,” President Barack Obama felt compelled to toss into the spreading flames of divisiveness.Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes that ginning up the mob has certain advantages those who crave control can rely on.
Curiously, as Obama’s political base in "stand your ground"-free Chicago prepares for a Trayvon Martin march today, the names of last weekend’s 10 dead/49 wounded seem destined for obscurity. Evidently these lacked an important exploitable factor. [More]
No Slur
Bruce W. Krafft shares a conversation. [More]
I've been occupied with other priorities and haven't had time to weigh in on this case, but do note the antis are dancing in the blood with all their might in order to kill "stand your ground" and to keep it from spreading.
Here's the thing--Workman asks a good question: "Was ‘SYG’ law even relevant?"
I've been marginally watching this from the sidelines and here's a sneaking suspicion I can't shake: I’ve read officials aren’t prosecuting him saying they can't because of stand your ground laws that need to be changed. I’m wondering if that’s a cynical strategy on the part of prosecutors who are hostile to anything making their burden of proof more difficult to overcome—it seems they very well could charge and prosecute the guy—who followed and confronted the teenager after being specifically told not to by the 911 dispatcher. I’m suspecting the decision to not prosecute is a calculated legal and political exploitation of the situation.

We're the Only Ones All Tapped Out Enough
Now we have proof that police are creating their own laws when it comes to wiretapping arrests. [More]One point of confusion for me: I haven't seen the term "wiretapping" used to describe recording a police encounter.
Everybody knows about the Illinois case, right? Talk about tyranny via intolerable acts.
I've got a whole category here I never intentionally set out to create.
And here's the "go to" site on this.

Unintended Consequences
Consequently, the Company has temporarily suspended the acceptance of new orders. [More]Business is booming. What the antis don't get--or won't admit--is that in spite of what happens in November, Americans who get it are voting now.

Republican "Leadership"
Asked for comment about whether they were pressing for a vote on the measure, House Speaker John Boehner’s (R-Ohio) and House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy’s (R-Calif.) offices said only that they do not handle the schedule of the House floor. Majority Leader Eric Cantor’s (R-Va.) office, which does schedule the floor agenda, did not respond to numerous email and phone requests for comment. Fast Pass
Look what came in the mail yesterday:
This just ain't right. What's this "elder" crap? True story: I took the wife to a reunion concert by a band I used to listen to in college. The lead singer came out with a cane.
The whole business of "senior discounts" should not sit well with those paying higher prices to subsidize them--those offering them are being generous with other people's money.

This Day in History: March 23
"The Marquis de la Fayette is to serve under the Count de Rochambault who is going to the succour of the United States of America with eight regiments of chosen troops. The squadron destined to protect this convoy & to act upon the coasts of the continent of America...that the French are preparing a powerful embarkation to make one great effort in favour of America... Let America take care how she trusts such a force on her continent, for it is morally certain the subjection of that country to France is intended... that since the retreat of the French & rebels from Georgia that province is restored to a state of perfect tranquility. Those who had the insolence to refuse his Majesty's gracious offers of protection & security... have at least, either through fear or from conviction, submitted & enrolled themselves amongst the King's liege subjects..." Oregon gun group says rights delayed are rights denied
The utter gall of those "officials" is almost unbelievable and the implications are intolerable. They have posted a message on their “challenge line” telling callers they “will be delayed at least a month and don't even bother to leave a message before a month has gone by since they will NOT call you back.” [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes you can't only not place a call, you can't even leave a damn message.
