Group Used Actors for NYC Gun Store Facade

“Actors are interviewed on camera in a fake gun store,” the permits’ scene descriptions reveal. [More]
We knew the store was fake and the "proprietor" was an actor. My Freedom of Information request produced the permits showing the "customers' were actors as well. So when States United Against Gun Violence aka CeaseFire tells us it was "a hidden camera social experiment to debunk safety myths," the only myth that's been debunked here is their sneaky con job attempt at manipulation.

Also, it seems no paperwork was required to control all that "inventory," which, per New York law, also applies to "prop guns."

Includes links to permits and correspondence.

Republican 'leaders' block and derail campus carry in Nevada

Naturally, they both have excuses. Per the Reno Gazette Journal, Brower, “said his committee would not hear the bill because it lacked the support necessary to pass his committee,” and Roberson evidently thought prohibiting those convicted of domestic violence from gun ownership (!) was cause enough to leave all people vulnerable to campus violence. That campus carry won’t have support if the "leadership" isn’t making it a priority and an expectation becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes it's not just Democrats we need to guard against.

The Color Orange

I guess that's one way for the antis to make their numbers appear larger than they are. [More]

Freddie Allen, NNPA Senior Washington Correspondent

And all-around press flack for the antis... [More]

One source, VPC, no alternatives allowed, even though they are readily available, and this is "news"?

So there have been no lives saved, no DGUs?

The overwhelming number of them without firing a shot...?

Want to compare "concealed carry killers' to "Only Ones," Freddie, you "Authorized Journalist/Legitimate News Media/Real Reporter" hack?

[Via Neil W]

UPDATE: And I learned from his Twitter feeds that Freddie is one of those  who don't trust the police to do the right thing by the community-- which makes his stumping for them being "Only Ones" all the more of a disconnect with anything resembling logic.

They seem  to attract their share of American fools -- assuming the posters aren't all part of the shill game. I notice Mike's comment was deleted.

Anybody think these foreign enemy propagandists publish anything that isn't Ayatollah-approved?

Hack Attack

Someone is posting a lot of T&A photos.

What's disappointing, but not surprising, is the number of visitors who don't recognize a hack when they see one, and are vowing to have nothing to do with OK because they assume the photos were authorized.

So When Do the Riots Start

I guess "Hands up, don't shoot" doesn't apply when you've bound them... [More]

Predictably, this comment appeared under my article from one of the serial trolls:
This from the side that started Moms Demand THE DAY AFTER Sandy Hook, impatiently anticipating the opportunity to hit the ground running.

Me, I like this comment left at Mike's.

Actually, if they have to unstrap, shouldn't it be rule number two?

Emergency Response

Persons evacuating from a designated mandatory evacuation zone can lawfully carry firearms without license for up to 48 hours while in the process of evacuating. [More]
Florida Carry notes a simple change, effective immediately, that they helped bring about to "allow lawful gun owners to bring their guns with them during an emergency rather than being forced to leave them behind to fall in to the hands of looters or be destroyed in a disaster."

GOA supporters to question presidential hopefuls in ‘tele-town hall meeting'

In a way, that could end up being a litmus test of sorts by which gun owners will be able to separate politicians who will stand with them from those who will abandon them and turn tail at the first threat of “bad” press. That could be helpful in gauging if candidates are willing to stand fast on principles they actually believe in, or if they have merely been offering insincere platitudes in the hopes of gaining knee-jerk votes. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes the "progressive" forces of inclusion and tolerance are frothing at the mouth in their desperation to scare GOP candidates away from GOA. Now at least we'll get to see how many poltroons are running courtesy of the Orwellian-named "People for the American Way."

We're the Only Ones Youth-Oriented Enough

The city’s narcotics cops are being told to stop arresting suspects over the age of 40 — a major strategy shift designed to target younger dealers, who are more likely to carry guns and use them, The Post has learned. [More]
Forgetting for a moment the entire "war on drugs" argument, this means smart entrepreneurs will adjust their sales force accordingly, and distribution will increase... and those over 40 will have more incentive and less fear to carry protection.

"Progressive" Opposite Day "law enforcement" policies, you know, really designed to make the problem worse and the "demand" for more of the same --which is the biggest and most destructive dependency of all -- increase.

An Academic Solution

The solution to gun-related crime is not further arming the public. It involves enacting comprehensive gun control laws that prohibit many forms of gun ownership, significantly curtailing or eliminating access to and the ability to purchase guns, and implementing programs in which the government confiscates or purchases illegal guns already in circulation among the public. [More]

He has, however, provided us yet another handy link to throw back at anyone using the "No one wants to take your guns" lie.

How Come We're Never Offered "Bans" Like This?

I'd accept my not being subsidized and otherwise being left alone as a "common sense" gun "compromise" I could live with. [More]

Except for the "arming" mandate in Article. 1. Section. 8., but the government has been ignoring that since, like, forever anyway...
