We're the Only Ones Justified Enough

Federal judge: Drinking tea, shopping at a gardening store is probable cause for a SWAT raid on your home [More]
Do you think WRSA would mind if I borrowed Lee Greenwood for a couple minutes?

We WILL Comply

And how! [More]

For some reason, I'm reminded of the story of the African farmer and the leopard...

Instead of immediately pulling away, he went in first.

Duncan Nonuts

Arne Duncan calls for addressing gun violence in final speech as education secretary [More]
Funny. He didn't say anything about the jackboots reporting to him. Or what they're equipped to commit "gun violence" with.

Hey, if you're looking to blame someone, don't forget all those "Republicans" who voted to confirm him, instead of asking where the Constitutional authority is for the whole Department of Education fraud in the first damn place.

Meanwhile, Across the Pond in Piers Morgan Paradise

Armed Americans pose for pictures. Snotty hoplophobia from the dhimmi/subjects ensues. [More]

William Tell Overture

Whereas in 2011 numerous people in Switzerland voluntarily gave up their firearms, today more and more people are purchasing guns. [More]
They can come to grips with reality -- or they can listen to the siren call of contemptible personal weakness from Martin Boess, who ignores every lesson of his country's history, and presumes himself and his fellow "professionals" of being the Swiss Family Only Ones capable of handling such responsibilities.

Exploiting that illusion is not lost on those counting on Martin's advice being followed by those who prefer bowing to Gessler's cap.

Turning Heads

‘Where White People Meet’ dating site billboard turning heads in Utah [More]
Turning? This has them positively spinning!

Of course, the indignation and outrage is selective...

Go figure.

MORE VIGILANTE TEA PARTY GUN CULTURE INJUSTICE

That's one way to look at a woman defending herself against a home invader. [More]

At first I thought it must be sarcasm, but no, I checked this character out, and it seems he really would rather see you dead than armed.

I wonder what the twisted reason is for him adopting the FBI logo...?

We're the Only Ones Disrespected Enough

Controversial farmer Tony Martin was arrested on New Year’s Eve because he didn’t show enough respect to local police, a local man has claimed. [More]
The way things are going in the UK, it's not a stretch to believe one day the bullies will receive all the respect they've earned.

Keeping Up with the Joneses

Mike, who has no use for the guy (and then some), finds a story that doesn't appear to make sense, and later addresses a bizarre accusation from out of left field.

In the interests of full disclosure, I've enjoyed the benefits of Alex Jones' amplified megaphone. I'll do it again if I get the chance.

In the interests of corroboration, readers here know that Drudge's refusal to feature stuff we've uncovered until bigger fish follow up on it has been a disappointment more than once.

Respecting Wishes

We cannot force ourselves or our protection on people who do not want it.   Dwight and Steven Hammond have made it clear, through their attorney, that they just want to turn themselves in and serve out their sentence. And that clear statement of their intent should be the end of the discussion on this.  No patriot group or individual has the right or the authority to force an armed stand off on this family, or around them, against their wishes.  You cannot help someone who does not want your help, and who are not willing and ready to take a hard stand themselves. [More]
Which kind of makes Ammon Bundy's call for action all the more perplexing, and makes it fair to wonder why, and who is advising him. Is it just a matter of not getting the word in time, or something else? Anyone with knowledge on this, please advise in comments.

That said, it's a BS sentence demonstrating the monstrosity of Leviathan, the judge who imposed it is a robed tyrant and the enforcers who will execute it are proof that some will follow any orders.

UPDATE: Things just got a lot more dangerous. This has the potential to go bad real quick, and the repercussions may be far reaching, deadly, and exploitable by those who would use the situation to justify invoking extreme measures under the banner of national security. At this point, I would not rule out provocateurs.

Cure for the Common Collectivist

“If I have a cold I can’t buy Sudafed without ID, but I can walk into any gun shop and walk out with enough bullets to arm a small army without showing any kind of ID,” Simon said in a joint release.  [More]
Yeah. If she's trying to cure a cold with a bullet, she really only needs one.

I'll even spring for a nasal inhaler.

And yes, I noticed these idiots have no clue that a bullet is a cartridge component. Who better to ban shoulder things that go up?

It figures oath-breaking former "Only One" Adams is a driving force.

"A dozen bullets every three months"...?

Heck, that'll give us more than enough practice to be competitive with New York's finest!

And here's my favorite part:
Penalty for the violation of this law would also be increased from a Class B misdemeanor, or not more than three months in jail and not more than $500 in fines, to a Class E felony, or up to four years in prison with a minimum of one year.
Who wants to chip in for more complimentary inhalers?

Firearms Guide

I just got an email from the people behind this resource inviting a review. [More]

As what motivates me ain't the hardware, all I'm really prepared to do is pass on the link and invite you to explore it on your own and decide how useful it is to you.

One suggestion I have for all "for profit" gun-related ventures: Let your customers know how you are a leader in defending RKBA.

A Sad Commentary

I also find it very disturbing that gun owners in North Liberty feel they have the right to carry their guns ... [More]
I guess the irony of that statement doesn't occur to her.

You Only Want Guns Because You're a Racist

Current gun debate has roots in slave revolt [More]
I guess we're now supposed to be intimidated or something, lest the collectivists call us ugly names.

We know about the racist roots of gun control, and the Deacons for Defense, and Reagan's Mulford Act betrayal and a whole lot more, no thanks to Opposite Day "progressives" intent on making sure Massah's plantation remains a monopoly of violence.

Curious how she justifies it all by citing "Only One" abuses.

We're the Only Ones Impatient Enough

Exception to the Waiting Period for Purchasing and Delivering Handguns: Exempting the purchase of a handgun by a qualified law enforcement officer or a qualified retired law enforcement officer from the 3-day waiting period, etc. [More]
Why should we have to wait? We're special!

I understand concealed carry permit holders and those trading in another handgun have already been exempted. I guess the real question is, why any citizen would be subjected to prior restraint. Until that's fixed, I'm not inclined to be sympathetic to fast pass line cuts based on special government privileges and immunities.

And then there's this:
Concealed Weapon or Firearm Licensees: Requiring a concealed weapon or firearm licensee to provide certain information and display the license and proper identification when approached by a first responder; requiring firearm course instructors to maintain records attesting to the use of live fire with specified firearms and ammunition by students in his or her physical presence; requiring that a license be suspended or revoked upon a second or subsequent violation of such requirement, etc.
So we see an "Only Ones" bill from a "law and order Republican," and a harassment of "law-abiding" gun owners bill from a monopoly of violence Democrat.

Why does the phrase "pincer movement" come to mind, along with a warning to watch your flanks?

Wicked Problems

By joining with computer intelligence, humans could expand upon their own abilities to create 'multidimensional collaborative networks' ... [More]
They're making it harder and harder to dismiss some of those issuing prophetic warnings as "end timers" and cultists...

Safe Spaces

Demand for ‘panic rooms’ growing [More]
Don't worry! A hireling with a gun will risk his life to come save you!

As for keeping the client list secret: Cities require building permits, and you'd better hope the guy isn't picking up day laborers outside of Home Depot.

What Difference Does It Make?

As long as the Republicans are allowed to get away with fielding  a piece of political drek like Rick Snyder, there is no incentive for them to ever change.

So what if a Democrat ends up taking the seat?

Halfway Measures

David Mark Williams, a farmer in Halfway, Ore., described guns as “a tool. If you’re hunting or living a rural lifestyle, you’re going to have a firearm.” But Williams, who came to Washington this fall with MoveOn.org to meet with members of both parties, said he resigned his NRA membership after its president opposed stricter gun laws in the aftermath of the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. [More]
Yeah, present a Prozi as a typical "reasonable" gun owner. Using MoveOn shills is an old damn trick, one WaPo is happy to exploit. If I were a gun dealer and this gunkapo came in, I'd tell him to get the hell out of my store.

The bottom line is, nothing will change in terms of reducing "gun violence" because they're dealing with the wrong end of the spectrum. And while there will definitely be new burdens on the "law-abiding," there may also be an unintended consequence that Obama's legal fine tooth combers never thought of. I don't want to say any more just yet, lest they sidestep a pitfall. Depending on what he imposes, I'll either say more about that later or I won't.
