We're the Only Ones Playing Both Sides Enough

Undercover police poses as drug dealer to arrest undercover police posing as drug buyers [More]
I guess that's one way for each side to explain away getting caught.

The Pro-Death Lobby

No, the March for Our Lives school walkout is not the same as pro-life school walkout [More]
I don't think Julie here recognizes the unintended truths revealed in that claim.

'Tragic' is Hardly the Word for It

"This is a tragic case for all of those involved." [More]
Actually, it's an inexcusably outrageous case for the homeowner who had to defend himself first against private criminals and then against public ones.

Can We All Get Along?

No. [More]

Nice to see the wider world starting to catch up with Mike.

Outback Lives Matter

For at least a year, the biggest page on Facebook purporting to be part of the Black Lives Matter movement was a scam with ties to a middle-aged white man in Australia... [More]

Bank von Amerika

Bank Of America To Stop Lending To Military-Style Weapons Makers [More]
Well looky here at our moral superiors:
In the past few years, BofA, which was one of the largest beneficiaries of the federal bailout in 2008 onward, has had to pay billions of dollars to settle lawsuits alleging misbehavior relating to mortgages and mortgage-backed securities.
Speaking as a taxpaying gun owner, a right to keep and bear arms advocate and an involved voter, I'd like to see a bill saying no bank that engages in discriminatory practices against the firearms community is eligible for federal bailouts.

How about it, NRA "A"-rated House Committee on Financial Services Chair Jeb Hensarling?

Feel free to ask him yourself.

Burying the Lede

Across the U.K., knife and gun crime both increased 20 percent in the year ending September 2017... [More]
Like I said, we ain't seen nothin' yet.

Life in These Vereinigte Staaten

Still, Twitter users and even ABC News apparently alerted police to Spencer’s post. [More]
And remember -- a snitch society is a "progressive" society!

Life Imitates Art

Clubs instead of guns. Now there's a comic idea! [More]

As dumb as a box of rocks is not just an expression -- it's school policy.

Not the Referendum Being Portrayed

The departure of 48-year-old Ryan could complicate Republican Party efforts to retain the House in November, when candidates may be dragged down by the unpopularity of President Donald Trump. [More]
That's what they want you to believe. It's not about the man. It's about the ideas the vested interests want to marginalize and stamp out.

If Republicans get thrown out, it's because they were the ones that doused the fire in our bellies.

It's Miller Time

T.J. Miller busted for ‘drunk’ bomb threat on Amtrak train [More]
You'll have to excuse me because I've never heard of the guy, so let me make sure I know who we're talking about.

Is it the same T.J. Miller "Accused of Sexually Assaulting and Punching a Woman" for whom "Ever since his college days, allegations of sexual violence have followed"? Yeah, I know he says he's innocent, but is that an option in the days of #MeToo, and the "progressive" mandate that a woman's claims of victimization are now proof of guilt?

And is it the same T.J. Miller who settled with an Uber driver after "allegedly" slapping him over a Donald Trump disagreement?

That wouldn't be the same T.J. Miller all proud about his wife's participation in #MarxForOurLives, would it?  The one who says he has a bodyguard? The one who, like all good Monopoly of Violence advocates, has no problem "joking" about not caring if all humans are dead and the animals take over?

That T.J. Miller?

I just wanted to make sure before I said "What an asshole."

Speaking of Potential Russian Collusion to Interfere in U.S. Elections...

I just got a link to the following in my "Junk" folder from Tom Steyer, recruiting my support to impeach the president. [More]

Demand the Justice Department investigate his substantial past Russian economic ties and ensure there has been no undue foreign inflence exerted to undo the results of a lawful election.

Knowing @Jack

Whether or not he’s comfortable in the role, Dorsey seems to have realized the necessity of being less ambivalent about what he’ll allow on the service he created. [More]
Another Keeper heard from...

It's a real bind for we small fry "content producers" talking about stuff the DSM won't. I tried MeWe as a Facebook alternative and Gab as a Twitter replacement and can't say I've seen any resulting article traffic worth my time to deal with either, and that's the only reason I bother with "social media." I do, however, seem to attract an inordinate amount of sex spammers using voluptuous avatars to mask that they're probably Chechen hackers or Nigerian phishers.

Add Google News moderators removing my stuff from their feed and guys like me are pretty much limited in reach to site visitors, only a handful of whom take it on themselves to share links. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop and find blogs like this are targets of complaints and not only no longer "welcome," but removed without notice. It's happened before.

Ah well, things'll probably run a lot more smoothly without extremist malcontents trying to gum up the works and when the tolerant diversity of approved groupthink rules the day. We'll certainly avoid a lot of unnecessary unpleasantness for all parties concerned:

There's an App for That

Getting help will only be one hold away from getting the help you need if you are in danger on a Metro bus or train. [More]
Is anyone smart enough to install and use an app dumb enough to believe a word of this?

Because Who Better to Leave Your Children with than Utterly Helpless 'Adults'?

All this talk of arming teachers has to stop [More]
Oh gosh, Blake Shuart said it so that must settle it.

He sure sets up a lot of prior restraints in order to deny fellow citizens the choice to exercise their rights. And every one of his objections applies not just to school grounds, but to everywhere.

I'd also like to see some validatable facts on"underpaid" teachers spending their own money on supplies that do not come from special interest "surveys" designed to promote tax breaks and denigrate Republicans.
