Was Hughes Amendment lawfully passed?

And then, if you come to believe we’ve been swindled, ask yourself what we can do about it.  Because it’s a cinch no one in Congress is motivated to resurrect this, nor is the anti-gun media.  [More]
Activists have obtained a video of the proceedings wherein the Hughes Amendment machine gun ban was "passed" in the FOPA '86 bill.  What a cluster...

Here's the link to the thread on the fraudulent Hughes Amendment, an amendment that not only didn't pass, but was voted down by a very large margin. That paragon of virtue, Charlie Rangel, declared it passed anyway.

You can read the whole thread, or go to the end and watch the video.

It's sort of like when a district attorney has been caught manufacturing evidence and suppressing other evidence to get a conviction. Just how may unlawfully passed laws are there?

I was watching this on CSPAN when it happened and have said ever since that it didn't pass. Most people don't believe me because everyone knows that the democraps wouldn't do anything unconstitutional in order to further their agenda. It's time to challenge the law in the courts.

This reminds me of those woeful GOPers who declare their fidelity to the second amendment, and then say we should "enforce existing gun laws" -- not good enough. Repeal all illegal gun laws.

So, George Allen wants back in? Then he needs to talk about this topic.
