We're the Only Ones Passing the Savings On To YOU Enough

A former Sheriff's deputy under indictment on a battery of gun and explosive charges may have sold numerous handguns he made from mismatched and illegally obtained gun parts, the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office revealed today. [More]
The amnesty offer reminds me of the story of the old man and the talking frog.

I'd rather have the gun.

Yeah, maybe he did. But he's a Law Imposement Officer and he MEANT WELL. Not like your average crook who is just thinking of himself. Shouldn't we give him the benefit of the doubt? He has a tough job to do... puts his life on the line every day... he loves the people so much...

Hey, it reminds me of the old Beatles song:

he loves you, yeah yeah, yeah..

and with a love like that
you he can't be (sheep sound here) baaaaaad!

I don't really see how any of what he did should be illegal anyway.

Agreed. I guess, AJ, the question is, did he and the machine he was willingly and financially a part of ever arrest anyone on a gun charge...?

I notice that at one point they say to turn in the weapons as they could be dangerous. Then why to ask in the next paragraph for people who had guns shipped through his FFL "turn in the guns". So are they dangerous or do they reqally just want to "collect" them for evidence?

The article does say the GLOCK will replace the turned in weapon with the persons' weapon of choice.

Seems there's more going on here that the article missed. Glock would not do that unless there was something else involved.
