OK, do we need a religious sect that requires the wearing of 1911s? Jesus did tell his followers, "Let he who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one." (Sorry, not verbatim but quoted from memory - in the Gospel of Luke if you care to look it up.)

Sikhs ignore their history - and how they overcame great oppression and persecution - to their peril.
I'm appalled at the naivete exhibited by the Sikhs quoted in both articles.
