The trillion$ in debt run up by the DC politicians means collateral will sooner rather than later be required by debt holders. GSA owns billions of square feet of office space and much federal land especially in the west. National Parks could be packaged in REITS and sold when times get really tough. IRA's and 401K's could be nationalized, and will be before it's all over. Now their (and our!) arming up makes perfect sense!
