Any map that accurately indicates where guns are, conversely also tells you where guns are not.
Which piece of information is more useful, and to whom?
Does knowing that a gun is at a place make you feel safer?
Does knowing that no gun is at a place make you feel safer?
What about understanding the concept that even if you think you know, you never really know for sure?
