Almost one in 10 Americans has a history of impulsive and angry behavior and ready access to guns, new research indicates. [More]Yeah, what the hell -- why not lump me 'n you in with all the problem people? Any similarities being shared with any statistical significance by the "one"? I mean, how much difference can there be between your house and a crack house? By the way, does "American" mean they just happen to be here? And they're all "owners" in the "lawful claim to property" sense of the term, right?
Doesn't matter. It gives the Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists at cBS"News" something to rub their nipples over.
Funny thing though -- with record numbers of guns owned, if this were true you'd think the rage shootings would be numbering in the millions by now instead of, you know, dropping.
Far be it from me to call Jeffrey Swanson a "progressive" agenda hack instead of a serious scientist or anything, especially when there are much more creative (and fun) pejoratives I could use...

One in Ten American males, the vast majority of whom are safe, sane, and reliable, and in possession of a blood concentration of free testosterone withing normal range, and an affinity for conducting themselves in a masculine manner, have access to guns.
Did Mr. Swanson survey police officers, too? Why are cops considered sacrosanct in calculations like these? It seems to me, through the "Only Ones" reports on this blog and others, that many cops show impulsive and angry behavior when dealing with the public, and sometimes their own families.
