Donald Trump is a "diplomatic rookie" who must learn not to cross Beijing on issues like trade and Taiwan, Chinese state media said Tuesday, warning America could pay dearly for his naivety. Trump's protocol-shattering call with Taiwan's president and a subsequent Twitter tirade against Beijing's policies could risk upending the delicate balance between the world's two largest economies, major media outlets said. [More]There are no "major media outlets." They're all Chicom puppets. Like AFP doesn't know that.
As for being rookies and naivety, some of us attribute those to the appeasers that went before, and to anyone who would make the error of underestimating the other team. Play ball -- and that has rules -- and prosper. Try to bully and what you'll see is some men play harder.
Derail the gravy train and you're the ones with almost a billion-and-a-half bellies to fill and a populace who can see just enough through your heavy-handed censorship to know they're being contained. And if your posturing results in disruptions, expect some of those cracks in the Great Wall to widen and crumble -- perhaps catastrophically. Because the people under your yoke sure don't stay there out of love for their masters.
Here's the deal, guys, as articulated a while back by another alpha American male who understood full well how to deal with extortionists:
[P]eace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations...You want the deal, those are the terms.

I wonder if Trump actually uttered the words
"Republic of China"
That would be awesome.
