Francis the Talking Mule

‘Muslim Terrorism Does Not Exist’ [More]
So then quit braying about the rest of us and tear down the damn wall, you fraudulent jackass, masquerading as a leader of the faithful while doing the work of principalities and powers...

From this point forward, I shall be referring to the little beanie that the Pope wears as an Ass Hat.

David, somehow I was under the impression that you are Catholic (no disparagement intended. Through the years I have many Catholic friends. Was even invited to join Demolays) so your criticism of the Pope is surprising. I thought you guys weren't allowed to do that. I agree with everything you wrote.

I have no criticism of Catholicism in general. I have had genuine respect for several past Popes. But this guy Francis is something else. It is only the Left which asserts that using the term "Islamic terrorism" brands all Muslims as terrorists. It doesn't. It merely denotes the reason for some (most?) of the world's terrorist acts. The mere that the practitioners perpetrate their horrors shouting that their "god" is great indicates that their actions are motivated by there fates.

Pope Francis is correct when he asserts that that“Christian terrorism does not exist [and], Jewish terrorism does not exist". Christians in Northern Ireland have performed many acts of terrorism through years but they never once proclaimed those acts to be in the name of God. Those acts truly were assymetric warfare against what they viewed as an invading foreign power. They truly were "freedom fighters" as well as terrorists. Likewise when Menachem Begin and his cadre were working to get the Brits to give them part of Palestine. They never claimed their acts were in the name of God. They, too, were truly both terrorists and freedom fighters.

Nope, although others have assumed that as well, probably from my "The Cross and the Gun" piece.  During my stint over at JPFO, others assumed I was Jewish.

I was baptized a Romanian Orthodox, although as an infant, that hardly involves understanding and volition (when I grabbed the priest's dangling cross, my grandmother took it as a sign, which I find almost humorous). What I AM is not usually relevant to the secular arguments I make here. I don't pretend to have any authoritative religious credentials, although I do on occasion cite Bible verses (generally KJV) when they fit. In terms of self-description, I have to settle, at least for now, for "a struggling piece of work."

My experience says watch your wallet -- and your rights -- around those who represent themselves differently.
