Voters in those areas of western Kansas are more likely to have conservative political views and are more likely to have supported Donald Trump in the 2016 election, according to the defense motion. [More]So their premise is that "conservatives" are haters who support "bloodbaths"?
If they really believe that, it tells me there aren't enough in-agreement SPLC members on the jury.
I stand by my "low-hanging fruit" assessment in an earlier report. Even if it results in public works opportunists trying to get me in trouble with my magazine.

Re conservative, Trump-supporting jurors, these guys are pretty dumb. I guess their logic is we support Trump, they support Trump, so they must support us.
There was an article a while back, in the Forward I think, about anti-Semitic Trump supporters who were annoyed that Trump didn't really hate Jews like they did. Projecting your views onto others can only end in disappointment.
“They are totally blind to the notion that bigotry against Muslims is just as bad as bigotry against blacks and Jews and anyone else.”
Au contraire mon frère. There is a huge difference between "bigotry" against Muslims and "bigotry" against blacks and Jews and anyone else. When was the last time "blacks", "Jews", or anybody else but a Muzzie deliberately flew an airliner into a skyscraper? Or set off a bomb in a subway tunnel? Or drove a truck into a crowd of people? Being negatively disposed towards Muzzies is a survival-positive attitude.
Meh. Any agitation aimed at destroying the practice of systematically exclusing conservatives from ANY jury is desirable. Since the first few skirmishes in a campaign are usually defeats for the insurgents, might as well fight them on behalf of defendants for whom it really wouldn’t make a difference anyway.
