I’d take them up on it. Why fill the coffers of your enemies? There’s plenty of room, sunshine, and world-class Ranges in Phoenix.
I suspect the taxpayers of 'Dallas, TX shortly won't be happy with their "Mayor Pro Tem" . Even less so when the lawsuits hit the courts. Conventions the size of the annual NRA event take most of year to set up.. There's a lot of front-end investment in media merch, and logistics for each and every vendor taking part. Lots of the promo merchandise has location and dates. Add to that the personnel logistics for the vendors' staff and support. Now add the thousands of members attending. Hotel accommodations, rental cars, airline reservations often made months in advance and many non-refundable. Anyone and everyone would have "standing" in a class action suit seeking to recover their losses due solely to a capricious act on the past of Dallas, municipal government. The NRA will survive. So will the vendors . But 'm not sanguine about the future of the Mayor, the city council and perhaps even the future of liberal politics in TX .
