It turns out that "Homeowner, 73, accidentally killed by police had shot naked home intruder who was trying to drown his 11-year-old grandson in a bathtub."
This is what happens when there is an "Only Ones" mentality about who can have a gun in the presence of the enforcers. Garry McCarthy warned us:
"[W]hen somebody turns with a firearm in their hand the officer does not have an obligation to wait to get shot to return fire and we’re going to have tragedies as a result of that. I’m telling you right up front."Now we see "The officer who shot the resident has been placed on administrative leave." Any bets against this being ruled tragic but unavoidable and in line with standard department protocols?
How about against him turning this into a long term PTSD disability claim?
