A representative from the City Attorney's Office told Khalaf that the managers wanted to dismiss the charges. He said the city made it clear that the two managers, Riddick and Jamie Weaver, the acting operations manager, filed the complaints on their own.
They arranged a meeting with District Judge Elizabeth Hodges at 11 a.m. today. That is when Riddick and Weaver told the court that they wanted to drop the charges, Khalaf said. Their motivations for the dismissal are unknown, Khalaf said. The charges were dismissed with prejudice, which means McIvor can't be charged again.
When a college-age snowflake claims he is “triggered,” everybody has to bend over backwards to accommodate him. Here is a person who likely has a bona fide claim to actual PTSD, and the city fathers who kept him both defenseless and unprotected, and then lied to him, throw him in jail.
Virginia Beach voters, you’d better clean house, no one can do it for you.
