They learned long ago that announcing their true intentions impedes manipulation of the uninformed, and that nothing works better on the cud-chewers than “For the children.” Keeping children ignorant actually puts them in more danger, but that won't be acknowledged because safety isn’t what power-hungry frauds pulling useful idiot strings to bring about a “monopoly of violence” are really after. That's what I'll be doing next week with the 7yo. BB rifle first, with bangsticks as a reward for exhibiting good safety practices. God bless the backyard freedoms of rural America.
