Let's see: Having just read the linked story and going off in search of more, it took me less than five minutes to find a near-total lack of transparency by his administration regarding conflict of interest, with "significant corporate donations ... from the oil and gas industry" including Noble Energy, which was up to its neck in Chinese crude oil production, and...
I wonder what an investigative journalist with the background expertise, time, and resources would be able to turn up if he started pulling threads and following them.

Poisonous snakes, all spiders, aggressive sharks, power tools, firearms, and the Chinese Communist Party are all worthy of a certain amount of respect, but maybe not in the way Gov. Hickenlooper was suggesting.
