NRA Files Bankruptcy, Moving to Texas

Instead they should just shut it all down. Sale everything. And make a giant donation to some organization that will actually go and fight for America's rights!

Hard to believe the board would not be involved, that LaPierre et al have carte blanche. Or is he setting the deal for presentation as fait accompli?

Noted stress on 'financially strong". So what benefit accrues to this (defensive) bankruptcy? Would call the office but would never get a response.

The result of decades with sleeping trustees and fingers in the till management.

Why would Wayne start asking the board for permission now? Has he ever asked them for permission before?
