I'm tired of getting my hopes up only to see a big nothing at the end of the tunnel. I've seen plenty of stuff in recent days from people sure that Trump is going to pull a final seconds Hail Mary and save the day and am starting to feel like this is analogous to the end of the world preacher who assembles the flock on the mountaintop for their ascension only to come back down after it doesn't happen with excuses about miscalculations -- but wait 'til next time.
I hope this does happen, but I'm pretty much at the "Wake me when it's over" stage on this. That and this:
I also don't trust that this is not being done where they know it won't prove anything, so the whole concept of mounting challenges everywhere can be "debunked."
