And it won't actually be "Constitutional carry," as restrictions like "gun-free zones" and due process-denying disarmament will still apply, but it's a good step in the right direction.
It's a shame poltroons like Dan Patrick and other holdouts need to be pleaded with. They should be leaders in this.

I don't 'plead', 'beg', or otherwise debase myself when speaking with my 'employees' and/or their minions.
State the case, ask for position, crush objections and ask for the order, or in this case press for support or clear refusal which will be used against him next election.
If TX does not get this watered down version this session it will not be back as the communists get majority next year.
